Terms and Conditions for eLMS Portal (India)


1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the eLMS portal, you ("Data Principal") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue use of the portal immediately.

2. User Eligibility and Registration

  • Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Users below 18 years of age may register only with verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian.
  • Login credentials must be kept confidential. Users are solely responsible for all activities performed using their account.

3. Purpose Limitation and Data Usage

The eLMS will process personal data strictly for educational, administrative, and training purposes. Data will not be used for any purpose other than what has been consented to by the user, adhering to the principle of "Purpose Limitation".

4. Data Minimization

The platform collects only such personal data as is necessary for its intended functionality. This may include details such as name, email address, phone number, and Aadhaar number where legally required.

5. User Rights (As per DPDP Act, 2023)

  • Right to Access: Users may request access to their personal data held by the platform.
  • Right to Correction and Erasure: Users may request correction of inaccurate data or deletion of their personal data, subject to applicable laws.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Users may withdraw their consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual obligations.

6. Data Security

The eLMS portal implements reasonable security safeguards, including encryption of personal data both at rest and in transit, to prevent against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.

In the event of a personal data breach, the incident will be reported to the Data Protection Board of India and affected users within 72 hours, as required by law.

7. Data Retention

Personal data will not be retained longer than necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law.

8. Prohibited Conduct

  • Users shall not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to disassemble the platform or its software.
  • Users shall not share login credentials or grant access to their account to any third party.
